Wrongful Death

If a loved one is killed through the negligent conduct of someone else or due to a defective product, beneficiaries and survivors have the right to make a claim and file a lawsuit for damages based on wrongful death. Beneficiaries and survivors are the parents, children and spouses of the deceased.

It is crucial and of utmost importance that the lawyer selected to represent you is experienced and qualified to handle the type of case you may have. While it may be perhaps uncomfortable, it is your right–and in your best interest– to ask the lawyer you may be considering to retain whether or not he has handled, managed and litigated to a jury your type of case.

Trust is very important in an attorney-client relationship and that trust can be built primarily on knowing that you are in the right hands. At our law firm, we have handled numerous wrongful death cases. It is our solid belief that in order to properly cause a meaningful impact on those that turn out to be the adversary, a lawyer must be regarded as one who is going to be prepared and willing to go to trial if it becomes necessary. Being regarded as one who will try a case to a jury can only be real if in fact your lawyer has tried cases. At Ruiz and Associates, we have tried numerous cases including wrongful death cases. We stand ready to represent you and your family.
